It’s easy to see what makes these so special…
When we first announced our complete overhaul of 245 King Avenue, we couldn’t wait to see the final result. We knew this build was special. It has a classic exterior and a ton of personality (that’s what we love in a property).
The result of our hard work? Better than we could have ever expected. Now, we’re finally for residents to move into these timeless units. Let’s explore them.

First, the restaurants.
Even though it only houses four apartment units, 245 King Avenue is a big, tall building. Of course, anyone who’s been by this Victorian Village building knows that it’s not just apartments. Its first floor has some delicious local restaurants.
Yellow Brick Pizza has been in Columbus for years and serves hand-tossed pizzas with a whole lot of personality and imagination. Lucky residents might catch the smell of their rising crusts.
Alqueria is coming soon. Two former Barcelona chefs are transforming this first floor space into a creative restaurant. They’ll serve new takes on classic American dishes, but here’s the twist: menus will be fully dependent on what fresh ingredients are available from local farmers. We look forward to trying it out!
We love that Victorian Village has these restaurants and we’re even more proud that we get to celebrate their influence on the Columbus restaurant community.
Kitchens & Living Spaces
You’ve probably seen a Lykens Companies kitchen before.
You know them because they use some of Distinctive Marble and Granite‘s highest quality granite available on their countertops.
You know them because they use custom-fitted cabinetry, stained with rich mocha-tones.
You know them because of their high quality and efficient stainless steel appliances that look as good as they perform.
In short, you know them because they look great.
245 King Avenue boasts the same Lykens Companies kitchens that you know and love, but these feature unique above-counter lighting and extend through the apartment’s open-concept living space.
Hardwood flooring complements the kitchen’s wooden cabinetry and provides the entire space with a sense of depth and complexity. These darker tones are necessary in balancing the space, because the Victorian Village apartments in 245 King Avenue feature some of the tallest ceilings and highest windows in our entire portfolio.
Natural light pours in through these unique windows. The tall ceilings provide the space we need to relax and enjoy being home. All of these vibrant elements come together to create a kitchens and living areas that are perfect for hosting and flexible for all different types of decor styles.
Bedrooms
Cozy up in these carpeted bedrooms. Each apartment has two bedrooms that feature the same high ceilings and tall windows found in the living area. As an added touch of personality, we’ve left exposed chrome ductwork in each bedroom for a stylish twist.
Bathrooms & Closets
We always kick ourselves when we forget to show off the incredible bathrooms and closets that Lykens Companies puts in its units.
Take these bathrooms, for example. A neutral tile covers the walls, while a granite vanity pairs with modern lighting. The same mocha-stained wood finds itself on the cabinetry, while the shower is made luxurious by its sliding glass door. In a different unit, the sleek tiled wall finds itself replaced by one of the building’s larger-than-life windows, a brightening addition to the space.
Massive closets provide 245 King Avenue residents with plenty of storage. These built-ins make organization breeze. Better yet, a stacked washer and dryer combo means that’s it’s never been easier to wash and store clothing. So long to the trips down to the basement, or worse, the laundromat.
See yourself here?
Located in the center of Victorian Village, one of Columbus’s best and most historic neighbors, the apartments at 245 King Avenue offer an incredible living opportunity for those who love and appreciate uniques spaces in exciting places. These apartments prove that luxurious elements don’t strip a home’s personality; rather, in our opinion, they enhance it.
